Children are welcome to explore the resort and stretch their imaginations. We understand that a holiday is only a holiday if everyone has a break, and that’s why we offer childcare and fun-filled activities, so that adults can relax while children play.

Even the smallest of guests are catered to at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa, with special welcome gifts and touches such as children bathrobes.

Children under 3 years stay and eat for free.
A high-end baby equipment and essential supplies range is available: baby cots, car seats and high chairs, as well as floaties, beach toys, changing tables, nappy bin, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, spare bottles, baby bathtub and baby toilet.
Nutritious and delicious children menus are available .
Our boutique includes options to purchase kids-friendly cosmetics (sunscreen, after sun, swimming suits, aqua shoes, floaties...and more (subject to availability).

Babies & toddlers

Child care: Exhale and enjoy your time while your children are taken care of by an experienced child minders.
Baby equipment: We’ll help take the strain out of packing by providing baby equipment, including cots (wooden and travel), high chairs and car seats.
Swimming: Our separate baby pool provides a safe space for parents and little ones to have a dip together.
Playground: games and toys for all ages are available at our shaded playground.

There’s plenty to do at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa for children of all ages, whether it’s playing on the beach, making new friends or exploring the island with our kids-friendly excursions.

In-resort games: Ping pong, table football, petanque, darts, volleyball, chess and more - including indoor activities (board games, PlayStation, chess, cards). High speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.
Kitesurfing and watersports: The best area for our teens is no doubt the kite and watersports center when you can find a "chill zone", and learn kitesurfing or rent kayaks and stand up paddles.
Outdoor adventures and excursions: Loads of activities are available outside of the resort (find our full excursion list here) including: quad safari, snorkeling, fishing, swimming with dolphins and skydiving.
Plenty of family-friendly excursions available in Zanzibar: from swimming with dolphins to visiting monkeys in Jozani Forest, and quad safaris for our older children.
Beach Bicycles: Perfect to take on a ride along the beach: our beach cruisers are made for sand riding!

Family-friendly Amenities

Mini-farm & animals: Our little ones love to watch animals. At the hotel, you can visit our rabbits (and even donkeys!) as well as the Red Colobus monkeys, which live in the trees around the resort and can be seen nibbling on leaves in the evenings.
Children menus: Dine together as a family, whenever it suits you. Our specially designed children’s menu contains options that are healthy and fun, but there’s also the option of toddler-sized portions of adult meals.
All-weather play: A shaded playground filled with fun and toys is available - including swings and even a trampoline. You need never worry about the weather spoiling your children’s fun. We also have indoor game areas such as the games rooms, filled with toys and books - which can also be delivered to your villa.
Outdoor adventures and excursions: We have a full range of family-friendly excursions outside of the hotel, from snorkeling to swimming with dolphins and visiting a cave just 5 minutes away from the hotel.
Swimming: Bigger children can splash about to their heart’s content in our children paddle pool, or enjoy family fun in the largest main pool, with or without floaties.
More fun: A table tennis, a pool table, darts trampolines, table football and free play board games and toys are available at our games room and around the resort.
Child minders: Experienced baby sitters are available to take care of your children, ensuring they have a ton of fun! (extra charges apply)
Bicycles: Enjoy children's bicycles, as well as scooters to roam around the resort.
